We Shipped to Prod (You Probably Didn't Notice - That's the Point)

April 2026

Abraxas Forge is no longer in beta. Quietly, without fanfare or a countdown timer, we flipped the switch.

If you were using the old beta environment at forge.abraxas.rocks and everything just... kept working — that was intentional. We moved. You came with us. No drama, no broken links, no "please migrate your account" emails. Just a clean handoff to a fully isolated production stack running at forge.abraxas.rocks.

The little "Beta" pill in the corner of the UI? It's still there — but now it only appears when you're actually running on a beta build. When you're on prod, you won't see it. Because you're on prod.

What You Get

Everything that made the beta worth using, now on infrastructure built to last:

Step-by-step character creation wizard — Build an Abraxas character from scratch through a guided flow that handles the crunch so you can focus on the craft. Attributes, advantages, disadvantages, powers — all of it, in order, without needing the rulebook open in another tab.

Campaign band management — Keep your characters organized by power level and campaign context. If you're running multiple games or building a roster, this is where it pays off.

Why the Quiet Launch?

Because we're Abraxas Forge, not a VC-backed startup with a PR budget. We care more about the thing working than the thing being announced. Beta existed to let us validate the stack, tune the infrastructure, and make sure real users could actually build real characters without things falling apart.

They could. So here we are.

The production environment is clean — consolidated down from multiple overlapping deployments to a single, well-defined stack on AWS. Less complexity, more stability. The kind of infrastructure work that isn't glamorous but absolutely matters when you're building something you want people to rely on.

What's Next

We're not done. Analytics, deeper campaign tools, and subscription tier features are all on the roadmap. But we wanted to mark this moment, even quietly: Abraxas Forge is a production product now.

If you've been holding off because "it's still beta" — that's no longer an excuse.

Come build something.
